Surrey, in line with other councils nationally, are implementing more robust statutory measures to the processing of applications for post 16 travel assistance.

Family Voice Surrey are aware of the impact that this more robust approach may have on young people’s ability to get to and from their school or college.

We have invited the Surrey School Travel Assistance Team (SSTAT) to facilitate an online engagement session for parent carers on its policy and eligibility criteria for Post 16 travel assistance,. We are finalising the details, which we will share with you as soon as we are able.
