ADHD/Autism Group – Family Communication Officer, L-SPA, Surrey County Council

Joining the ADHD/Autism Group this time will be Jade Russell, Surrey Family Communications Officer with the Learners Single Point of Access (L-SPA).  Jade’s role is to support parents who have been declined an EHCP Needs Assessment for their child. She works to ensure parents understand the recommendations of the panel and the next steps. She also works in the community to promote the L-SPA service and provide advice to parents. This advice covers what strategies are available to children in school who need extra support but do not have an EHCP and how to collaborate effectively with educational settings.

The ADHD/Autism Group is for parent carers of neurodiverse children and young people with or without a diagnosis.  The Group meets online regularly via Zoom so come along and join in.

The co-hosts for the Group are Sara Draycott (Waverley Co-ordinator) and Diana Phillips (Woking Co-ordinator).  This event is free for Family Voice Surrey members.

Please email Sara on waverley@familyvoicesurrey.org for more information and the Zoom log-in details.
