Event details
Surrey parent carers are invited to a free coffee morning on Monday July 7th at The Space*, Oxted. This session is hosted by FVS Tandridge Coordinator Gretta Schifano and FVS Deputy CEO Charlotte Swann, and runs from 10.30am to midday. Lisa Roberts will be joining us from Luminus, the organisation which provides the independent Healthwatch Surrey service. Lisa is part of the Giving Carers a Voice team at Luminus, and she travels all over the county listening to what carers have to say about health and social care services – the good, the bad and the ugly! This feedback is used to inform commissioner/stakeholders and providers about what is working for carers, what isn’t and where there are gaps. Lisa and her team also signpost to other services that might help support the carers and their families.
*The Space is a room in Oxted Community Hall, which is next to St Mary’s Church. The address is: The Space, Oxted Community Hall, 53, Church Lane, Oxted, Surrey, RH8 9NB. There’s a small car park there, but if it’s full you can use the other Oxted car parks (e.g. Morrisons) and walk from there.
