Friday 17th November 10am – 11.30am

Attending the FASD Group this time will be Lisa Roberts from Healthwatch Surrey who wants to hear about health and social care experiences in the FASD community. Joining the meeting will be FASD expert, Prof. Raja Mukherjee.

Prof. Raja Mukherjee is a Consultant Psychiatrist for Surrey and Border’s Partnership. In 2009 he started the first NHS-based specialist FASD behavioural clinic at SABP.

The FASD Group is for Surrey parent carers of children and young people with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder – with or without a diagnosis. The Group meets on a regular basis and provides an opportunity to share experiences and exchange advice.

The host for the event is Sara Draycott (Waverley FVS Co-ordinator) and she is joined by Debbie Bell, a parent carer of an FASD child. Membership of this FASD Group is free for Family Voice Surrey members.
