Event details

Our next FASD online chat group will be on July 14th at 10am, it is for Surrey parent carers of children and young people with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder – with or without a diagnosis.

Joining will be Jan Griffin and her adult son Rossi who will be talking about living with FASD.

FASD affects more people than autism yet is a condition that is often misdiagnosed or missed completely.  It is a lifelong debilitating condition, and the effects can include physical, cognitive, emotional and social outcomes.

The Family Voice Surrey FASD group meets on a regular basis via Zoom and provides an opportunity to share experiences and exchange advice.  We also have a WhatsApp Group for day-to-day chat.

The host for the event is Sara Draycott (Waverley FVS Co-ordinator) and she is joined by Debbie Bell, a carer of two children diagnosed with FASD.

Email waverley@familyvoicesurrey.org for more information and the Zoom login details.
