We would like to extend a huge thank you to all parents and carers who supported the development of our collective consultation response to the Department for Education (DfE).
Your time, insight, honesty, challenge, and lived experience have been invaluable throughout this process. Whether you contributed through our engagement sessions, Microsoft Form, emails or local conversations with families, every contribution has been greatly valued. Your voices have helped ensure that the experiences and perspectives of parent carers, children, and young people were reflected throughout our response.
If you would like to read the full details of our response to the DfE, you can view it here:

We also participated in all National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF) sessions to ensure Surrey was represented within the national discussion.
The NNPCF has now submitted its response to the Department for Education consultation, SEND Reform – Putting Children and Young People First. You can read their response here:
Thank you once again for your time, support, and continued engagement.
