Event details

Tuesday, November 26th at 10am
Joining the FASD Group online at 10am will be Elleni Ross, Designated Social Care Officer for Additional Needs and Disabilities at Surrey Council.

Elleni is responsible for strategic planning to improve collaboration and integration of social care with SEND.

The FASD online chat group is for Surrey parent carers of children and young people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder – with or without a diagnosis.

FASD affects more young people than autism yet is a condition that is often misdiagnosed or missed completely. While more than 400 conditions can co-occur, FASD is primarily a neurodevelopmental condition with lifelong learning, emotional and behavioural challenges.

The FVS FASD Group meets online on a regular basis and provides an opportunity to share experiences and exchange advice. We also have a WhatsApp Group for day to day chat.

The host for the event is Sara Draycott (Waverley FVS Co-ordinator) and she is joined by Debbie Bell, a carer of children diagnosed with FASD.

Email sara.d@familyvoicesurrey.org for more information and joining details.
