We are so pleased to share details of our 2023 annual event, as follows:

FVS Annual Event – ‘Empowering Parent Carers’

at Leatherhead Leisure Centre, KT22 9BL

on Friday 24^th November, 10am – 3pm

(DOORS OPEN AT 9AM AND FIRST SPEAKER IS AT 10AM)

We are yet to finalise the full programme for the day, but we hope it will include the following:

Keynote Speaker – we are pleased to confirm that this year our keynote speaker is Clare Truman* of Spectrum Space Education, Training and Consultancy.

Q&A Panel – to include key members of the Additional Needs & Disabilities Partnership

Surgeries – for parent carers hosted by the various AND/SEND teams.

Marketplace – stallholders to include 3^rd Sector organisations who support AND/SEND families.

*Clare Truman of Spectrum Space specialises in supporting autistic children and young people with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). Clare also offers training to professionals and families about PDA and is the author of the book ‘The Teacher’s Guide to Pathological Demand Avoidance: Essential Strategies for the Classroom’.
