Personal Budgets
Share your feedback on Surrey County Council’s (SCC) proposed improvements to the Personal Budgets guidance and training program.
Thank you to everyone that has taken part in the personal budget sessions over the last year that were run by Jo McSherrie, Service Manager for Policy and System Development and facilitated by Family Voice Surrey.
Throughout the sessions we have received lots of valuable ideas and suggestions which SCC have reviewed and used to make changes and improvements to the guidance.
We would now like to invite all parents and carers of children and young people that use, have used or are considering using personal budgets, to provide feedback on the SCC suggested changes to the guidance, in response to what they have heard.
This will be held online on:
- Monday 30th June at 10.30-12pm
What will be involved?
o At the beginning of the discussion, we will share your previous feedback and how SCC propose to address it within the guidance.
o Surrey CC will discuss their personal budget training plans for professionals and welcome your suggestions, input and lived experience.
- By getting involved you are helping to shape the personal budget guidance and training programme on personal budgets that will be launched this year.

Please note you do not need to have attended the previous sessions to join this event and you do not need to currently be in receipt of a personal budget.
